Remove the locknuts and jam nuts.

Discard the copper washers.

Install new copper washers between the jam nuts and the locknuts.

Install the jam nuts.

Check the governor speed adjustments. Refer to Procedure 005-028 in Section 5. Refer to Procedure 005-029 in Section 5.
